Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a "page"?
One page equals one page from a PDF or one image file (JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF/TIF, WEBP, BMP, GIF). Office files (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX) are converted to PDF and counted by resulting pages. ZIP batch processing counts each document and page individually.
What is the batch processing API?
The batch processing API allows you to upload a ZIP file containing multiple documents and process them all in a single request. This is ideal for bulk processing and is available starting from the Pro plan. Free and Starter plans only have access to the single document processing API.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate your billing automatically. There are no cancellation fees.
What happens if I exceed my monthly limit?
All plans have hard quota limits based on your tier. Once you reach your monthly page limit, requests will be blocked until the next billing cycle. Your quota resets on the same day each month as when you signed up. You can purchase one-time add-on packages, upgrade your plan at any time, or wait for your quota to reset. You can monitor your usage and reset date in real-time on your dashboard.
Do you store my documents?
No. We process your documents in memory and immediately delete them after OCR is complete. We only store metadata (filename, page count, processing time) for analytics purposes. Your document content is never persisted.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and ACH transfers for Enterprise plans. All payments are securely processed through Stripe.
How does billing work?
All paid plans are billed monthly on the day you signed up. Your billing cycle and quota reset are based on your signup date. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime with no cancellation fees.
